Tamara Gayer, visiting from Brooklyn, NY, spent her visit exploring campus and focusing on the HUB-Robeson Center which will house the newly named Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity (formerly LGBTQA Student Resource Center). The Center will be moving into the former Robeson Gallery space in early fall which will align with the installation of Tamara’s immersive installation.
The LGBTQA Student Resource Center committee is led by Brian Patchcoski, Director.
Brian is joined by Sonya Wilmoth, Student Services Associate and Stephanie Whitesell, Administrative Support Assistant. Several students have been involved throughout the process of selecting an artist, including Alex Rupp, a first-year student in the College of Arts and Architecture who has been working as a marketing and graphic design intern for LGBTQA SRC since fall 2018.
