Adam Frelin considers Eisenhower Auditorium’s outdoor plaza

Lindsey Landfried, Amy Vashaw and Adam meet on the plaza in front of Eisenhower Auditorium.

Adam’s visit to meet with the Center for Performing Arts committee began on the Eisenhower Auditorium plaza. Committee members are interested in Adam’s work with light. We discussed the possibilities of creating an illuminated work for the plaza or facade of the building. The temporary artwork will help to identify Eisenhower Auditorium as an arts-centered location on campus.

Adam returned to the plaza after the sun set to observe the light levels on the plaza and building facade. He is currently developing ideas to bring a different kind of light and visual experience to the space after dark.
